The name BAR-MAS derives from the union of the names Barbara and Massimo: daughter and son of Francesco Chiapponi. A key man in the world of Italian denim with more than 50 years of experience in the sector and collaborations with numerous prestigious brands, today he pours all his experience and knowledge into Barmas alongside his son Massimo. Massimo grew up on bread and denim and chose to trace his own personal route in the world of luxury jeans. He immediately focused on his vision: to combine the manufacturing quality of the Made in Veneto, the land where he was born and raised, with the most sought-after materials and production processes, thus giving life to an unique point of view product in continuous evolution and with attention to minimal details.
